Tips to Get More Bang for your Buck
- Before grocery shopping, look at what is in your fridge, freezer, and pantry. Plan to use anything that may expire What can you use for meals? What do you need?
- Make a list of the things you need.
- Meal prep on the weekends.
- Cook larger dinner portions, eat the leftovers at lunch.
- Buy generic/store brands.
- Buy frozen vegetables.
- Buy grains in bulk.
- Canned foods (without added salt or sugar) are healthy too.
